MAK Development provided an update on the ongoing construction work following the September 14 HCMUD 391 Board Meeting.
Construction Progress
Mass grading and detention work has continued through August and into September.
Construction of the pond/lake is also nearing completion.
Pond/Lake Grading Final grading of the pond and lake bottoms is taking longer than anticipated due to groundwater and water-table conditions. MAK is continuing to monitor these conditions as work progresses.
Construction Fence
The construction fence will remain in place longer than originally anticipated and will not be removed during September. MAK plans to continue monitoring site conditions before determining when the fence can safely be removed.
The fence also helps reduce dust reaching nearby homes during dry conditions and provides additional security for the construction area.
Area Maintenance MAK previously sent a landscape crew to mow the area between residents' fences and the construction fence. This maintenance will continue to help keep the area maintained while construction is ongoing. MAK also plans to continue monitoring vegetation growth.
What to Expect While the project is approaching completion, some work is taking longer than originally anticipated because of water-table conditions. Residents should expect the construction fence to remain in place beyond September while MAK completes the remaining work and monitors site conditions.
